Another Breakout Owner!

Just based on the website I was torn between the red or blue (Like you mentioned personal preference, I don't care for black) but this was the only Breakout available that I could find in Maine/NH (at least within reasonable distance) so that narrowed my choice down . Once I saw it in person in the sun I was really pleased with the blue. A few dealers said they had some coming in a few weeks but I really wanted to check it out and take it for a test ride, then of course I purchased it
I washed and waxed her last night but it was getting dark by the time I finished, I will try to take some sun pictures this afternoon.

Awesome! My wife and I have been looking at the Breakout for the past month now and for some reason neither of us liked the polished alum cover bars on the rear fender; we thought they drew the eye too much and should have been black. That looks great! I got to sit on one a couple weeks ago (it was already sold but the saleswoman I am working with let me check it out). I have a bit more to pay off on my sporty and I'll be trading her in for a Breakout, hopefully I'll be joining the softy family in 2 months. Looking great guys!

and yet another pic
one from the rear. The horizontal plate is split in two parts and takes only a small amount of work to make it work vertically which tucks it in closer to the frame.
I have ridden many Softails but going from Fatboys and Heritage style to another FX I forgot how much smaller the headlight is. I am thinking of getting the daytimer LED from Harley but it is $400! As I get older my night vision gets worse so it is probably in the works.
