Let me ask this, since I don't know. Is a Deluxe also a Heritage? I thought only the Classic was a Heritage.

Kevin,

Keep thinking of the perfect job you did on your Heritage. Did you ever install the Wolo horn? If so, where did you put it? I bought the coil Relocation kit but stalled the install due to the horn relocation.

A Deluxe is not a Heritage. They are two different Models in the Softail Family.

This is a Heritage that I put Deluxe trim and rear lights set up on. I also put the Deluxe badges on it...but it is a Heritage.

Thanks man. Still have a couple little things to do.

I have installed the Wolo Horn. You can see it in the pic below, it is right above the left side passenger floorboard. When the bags are on it is sitting right in front of the bag.

We have played with different mounting brackets, and should have one available within a month so that you can bolt it right up to existing fasteners.

I see the horn now. Tucks right in there. I'll keep a lookout for the bracket. Thanks!

Wolo Horn bracket is now available-

I also have changed out my highway peg mounts for ones that fold the "right" direction. Super comfortable, with lots of foot position options.

Great looking bike. I like the exhaust quite a bit too.

Update-

Most bikes I've had, over the years, they lose a bit of their appeal. Not this one, it is as much fun to ride/own/look at today as it was when I was first modding it.

Since I last updated this thread, 1.5 years ago, I've done a couple more changes, but mostly been riding.

Got a flush mounted gas cap and dummy cap-

Teal & Birch White paint on tins
Discontinued HD Tank Decals found on ebay
All Heritage fender trim changed to Deluxe fender trim
Whitewalls with Dyna Beads
DK Coil Relocation
DK 2" Tank Lift w/ Deluxe Option
DK Outlaw HiFlow 587 Air Cleaner (Chrome Cyclone)
Matching paint to A/C backplate
DK HiPerf Reusable Billet Oil Filter
Samson TD Long Tails with Baffles and Thunder Torque Inserts
DK Power Vision Pkg.
HD Rack/Passenger backrest - Relocated back 2.5" from stock location
Bag stiffeners
Removed Reflectors
Drag Specialties Flush Mount gas cap and dummy cap
DK LED Drop-in headlight and passing light bulbs
Removed rear cylinder heat shields
Grasshopper Riders backrest
DK Stealth Mount Wolo Horn
Wards Parts Werks Fans
DK Highway pegs w/ heel rests
DK matching highway pegs, heel rests, & shift pegs
DK Floorboard extenders
Jagg Oil Cooler
DK Rocker Lockers
Kruzer Kaddy Cup Holder
LA Choppers Riser Extensions...soon to be switched out for a 5.5" pullback riser.
A bunch more little things.

But mostly what I've done to it is ride it!

Out for a putt earlier this year

.

It is a daily rider, and Mary and I have made quite a few trips on it. Here we are leaving out on a 9 day 3,000 mile trip of mostly country roads.

While it is a relaxed ride, it handles being aggressive in the curves just fine!

DK Customs,
You turned a fine bike into super fine bike.
Great job for sure.

Wow, Looks nice. I thought it was a 2016 at first glance. Love that teal & birch and those long fishys.
