I couldn't find a comparison after searching on the forum, only lots of praise for the Magnum Research Cables. I'm getting ready to order all the parts to do a handlebar swap when I get home, so this isn't a "what length cables should I order?" thread.

I just want to know before I order the cables, which is better: Magnum Research Cables or Barnett Cables? Why?

I can vouch for their quality, but I don't have any experience with Barnett.

 

I have Barnett Cables. Good quality. I'm happy with them. No experience with Magnum.

 

I have both - Magnum on my Touring bike, Barnett on my Springer.

Each is a great quality cable. You really can't go wrong with either one.

The Magnum Sterling Chromite IIs are very bright, and so are the Barnett Platinum finish.
