Cruising Speed
Heading to Laughlin, NV. from Reno NV. for the upcoming Laughlin River Run. I currently own a 2005 Fatboy (88ci - 1450cc - Stage 1) and wanted input as to a good cruising speed for the above mentioned without pushing the motor. I was thinking about 72-75 mph. Your thoughts...

Welcome to HDForums.
What do you normally cruise at on the highway? That's what I recommend.
You have a great bike there. The TC88 is a tough engine. Cruising at 72-75 will not push the motor at all, unless of course, you're cruising in 3rd gear at 5000+ rpm. Personally, I like to keep my engine speed below 4000 rpm. But then, my 2012 Heritage has a TC103 engine with a 6 speed tranny. You only have a 5 speed tranny so your rpms will naturally be higher than mine at the same speed.
Just ride safe, brother.
