Default Anyone sportin the S&S muscle cover?

They fit on the S&S Stealth Air Cleaner, which I recently installed and really dig. This air cleaner lets you use pretty much any stock or aftermarket bobber style cover. But S&S also makes it's own line of covers for it.

The muscle covers look like below. Thinking of putting one on my Slim. Would have to decide between chrome and black billet. Let me know if ya got one and how you like it. Hope the cables don't get in the way. haha.

Oh, and the cover would replace the HD bobber style cover I have on now. And I have the parts to black out my front end soon. So this is a photoshop of my bike, for consideration of how the cover would tie in. I'm thinking the chrome S&S muscle cover for this layout, actually. But not sure.

Not sportin one but I like it, if that helps. You could go with either black or chrome and be right.

It is kinda cool, and unique. And you're right, either chromium, or black would work.

Just hope I'm not mixing eras too much. The muscle cover harkens back to the 70s for me. The Panhead emblems the 50s.

But WTF, live on the edge, right? haha.

It's a little different and pretty neat looking. Hot rod style goes with just about anything.

Go with the chrome one, you can always change your mind later.
It's easier and cheaper to powdercoat a chrome cover than it is to chrome a black cover...

Agreed, pretty much the reason why I went with the AN Derby Sucker - I can
switch out to ANY derby (clutch) cover I want at any time...
But I like the black '103' from the '12 Fatboy Lo right now....

Good thing there's more than enough choices, or it'd be pretty
boring to see everyone with the same ol chit...

Man I like it. I was going to get it but went with the S&S Domed bobber cover. I really wanted the look of hood pins but I was afraid they would start rattling and drive me nuts. I like the S&S Concept and for a few more bucks I can buy another lid to go on the AC. Ordering the 1" taller air filter today.
