Does anyone have these Kuryakn inner fender accents?

If so are they metal or plastic? I know they say steel, but you never know if just back is and then the chrome is plastic or something.

How much work would it be to paint them if they are steel and chrome

I'd like to get them and paint them to match my fender and look like this.
