Looks good! I did the same on my blackline, but I took off the stockers.

Nice mod, you can't get enough lighting in the rear of your bike.

Thanks all.

Here's a pic I took last night to give yall an idea how bright it is in the dark. The cagers are backed off a lot more now and the bike is more visible:

jam, I'm gonna do some riding today but I'll pull up the seat and take a few pics of the wiring. The Posi-Taps made it very clean.

Dunka. I went with 11 5/8 inches. You may want a lil more or less, depending on how much you want to wrap it around your fender.

Can you post a close up of the light mounted to the fender. Hard to tell if its run on top or bottom..

It hangs off the bottom of the fender with a Custom Dynamics Mounting Stick. Scroll about 3/4 down this page to see the product:

http://www.customdynamics.com/custom...ct_listing.htm

So half of the mounting stick sticks to the underside of the fender. Then you affix the LED to the other half of the mounting stick for a recessed look.

You get no adhesive on your paint, only on the inside of the fender. And it's secure.

I'll post a pic when I get a chance.

Here's a picture of how the Custom Dynamics Mounting Stick allows you to hang the LED off your fender without putting adhesive on the paint. For those who wanted it:
