I may be among the few in here, but I love the SERT tuner. Going on 7th year and its been flawless.

Any time U mod Ur pipes or A/C, U will change air flow. Yes even just the baffs.

To get U tune back to PEAK performance one would need to retune, But It may not be necessary as Ur EMC will tune within 10%..

U might just try it without a new tune and see how she runs.. then go from there.

Also I'd think Ur tuner should be able to just turn for Ur new A/F and not have to do a complete tune,, So IMO about 1hr of labor on the dyno should get her dialed back in.

When I had them install the A/C and SERT along with my new muffs at the 1k back in 07, I had air leaks in both muffs.
The tuner only took about a 1/2 to retune it after they got them sealed up.

At our dealer the tuner can do a full tune with common pipes in 2hr usually all the time cause he's done so many..

So a tweak I'd think would not be more $85 (our labor cost per hr) if it only takes him the 1 hr.

Yeah I think that's the route I'm gonna go. I need do a complete tune up anyway, oil change and plugs and all that. I think ill do that the install the baffles and see how it goes. was basically wondering if it would be worth it to get a thunder max.
