Default Changing Fatboy wheels to spokes

Getting ready to change out the wheels on my 06 Fatboy. Love the looks of spokes and WWW . For those of you that have made the change, any words of wisdom, pros/cons you noticed before/after the fact? I'll be staying with 16" wheels as it's the look I prefer, but am looking for any thoughts from those of you that have made the change.

Thanks,
Smitty

Mine had the 16" smooth hd spokers. Looked good. pita to keep clean. Prefer 18"s, better ride imo.

I made the switch on my 2005 and am very happy I did. I was leery about loosing one of the most iconic features of the Fat Boy, IE the infamous disc wheels, but the second I saw the spokes and WWW's there was no turning back.

Lots of people choose to go to larger diameter wheels that better show off the spokes, but I (like you) like the traditional 16's. As far as ride, I did not notice much of a difference

Thanks bro...

It's mostly House of Kolor Tangerine over metallic base. Hard to see in the picture... but it fades from a pale yellow at the tip of the front fender to red at the back of the rear fender. Tank is all tangerine with no fade.

I dig your NT too... I actually bought a second set of tins to make my Fatboy flat black... but couldn't bring myself to do it. So now I'm just buying a second bike... ha ha ha.
