I have nothing against Barb's HD, we were treated well there too. Our 2nd purchase experienced should have been better. The sales guy was excellent, but the sales manager insulted the salesperson right in front of me and it just about caused us to walk out. We are just more comfortable at Williams now. Williams also always gives us discounts without even asking. It's a better discount than any shop would have given us and we never even asked for it. But really, I appreciate the discount, but most of all we like the way we are treated at Williams, and that is what keeps us coming back.

Checked it out the blue on at the Boston dealership.kind of a Deuce and a rocker, im sure the wide 240, the relocated ignition oil tank , afew other parts came from the rocker pile but in my mind they picked the best of it, it has a bunch of chrome like the deuce, all I would change is the risers or bars.all and all its the best new bike in the cruiser class I have seen in a long while.pricie for a few grand more you could own a street glide
!

Those looking for a Street Glide won't be purchasing a Breakout, nor vice versa. They would more likely have one of each in the garage

rode a CVO Breakout at Daytona during Bikeweek....best riding Harley I have ever ridden.
I really wish I hadn't because now I have to save a ton of money to get one!

That's what has killed off models. Not enough really want them and choose another model.

The Breakout is a nice bike.

That said, it's a marketing genius with half back half chrome.

Yep, people will only have to replace half the parts...

Tomorrow, we get to take our new toy home. I am very excited about it and it seems my wife is even more excited. She did look a little bumbed out though yesterday. I asked her what's bothering her. She said, "your new bike, I wish I could get one too", . We both know she can't, my wife is just too small to ride something that big. At times her Sporty Superlow gets overwhelming. She spent a year riding her Ninja 250 before she could even build enough confident to ride her Harley on the street. The Breakout weights over 700lbs. She sat on it but she could barely straighten it up and she could not reach the forward foot controls. I helped her out but because the Breakout is wider than than her Superlow, she was still on her tip toes.
Her Sportster Superlow does look really nice with all that chrome. She just clocked a 1K miles on it. For a year she has been looking for a Iron Horse Bandera. She saw one at a bike rally and liked it very much. I would love to see her be able to ride one.
