I'll let you know in the spring. I bought the Hot Licks kit and just installed it on my bike. I was getting a little bit of flame, but the temps are too cold outside for them to really brighten up and shoot flame. The RK has the Mega Flames setup which is a direct fuel injection system right into the exhaust. Total cost is around $500 (Including the $200 cost of the kit and the price to buy the plans). I just ordered some 42" longtails so that's what I will be running come warmer weather. So far it's just wired into the bikes coil like the directions state.
I have. Wish I never drilled into the new pipes. They didn't work with the other pipes and still don't work well with the new ones. I have the plans for the mega flame kit which shoots raw fuel into the pipes at the tips. Going to give that a shot. If not, I'm scrapping the kit and buying new slip ons. My bikes carbuerated and doesn't have baffles. Holes are drilled according to the directions. Not the best shot, but the plugs are just before the fish tail. I would say to stay away from it if you have new exhaust unless you know for sure it'll work.
