RE: Air suspension kit????
i had a five month ordeal with legends air ride and in the end i removed it and had to battle to get my money back. when you call them its almost impossible to get any one. you may get one guy who is supposed to answer questions but lets you answer them for him you say well how about this and he will say could be give it a try and this goes on and on and all you do is kelp trying things at your expense I had three compressors and two complete units installed new air lines three times then they told me to try by passing the relay try this if I had it to do all over again I would by a 70 dollar lowering kit and be on my way my bike was down quite a bit this summer with the legends piece of crap. They will give you parts I have to say that in the end they were complaining that the returned shocks had scratches on them gee they are exposed to the road and we had to remove them at least twice five months and over a thousand dollars out of pocket expense not counting the hefty price of the unit. good luck. as far as the air tale if the way i read it one shock does all the workwhen ridinfg the other is for adjusting check it out

I don't know what air suspension kit is the "best one" but can tell you about the Tricky Air Ride adjustable rear suspension on my 98 FXSTC. A toggle switch on the left side cover (below seat) makes it easy to use. The total travel it affords is probably about 3 1/2inches but a lotofthis lift rangeis unusable or at least uncomfortable. Specifically, it can be lowered to where the tire touches the fender (looks great that way when parked) but needs to lifted about 2" to be functional. It is a reliablebut expensive product. I do not think that I would put it on another bike.

A buddy of mine put the progressive air-tail (with compressor)on his deuce. It took him a while, but even he admits, the 413's he sold me, ride a lot better. On the other side of the coin, he hasn't had any problems with the air-tail, although he says he wouldn'tgo with the air ride again. After the novelty wore off, he said he'd rather have the better ride.

RE: Air suspension kit????
I thought about getting the air suspension for the rear, but the expense made me think twice, I thought about what I really wanted to do, and I decided that I only wanted it lowered in the rear, I didn't need the ability to raise and lower it.
I bought the progressive 413 shocks, and so far I'm happy with the 413's on mine.
