could it be for the exhaust valve for emissions. sorry forgot the technical name for it.

 

I stopped by the dealer today after work and took a look at another Fatboy. The bracket i am talking about is for the stock exhaust. I am missing the chrome clamp that goes from the bracket to the header pipe.

 

That's what I thought and am surprised the weight of the pipes hasnt broke anything.
