Default Swap 00-07 Lowers and Brake Caliper onto '98 Fatboy?

Did a chrome exchange with Chrome Pros on my lower fork sliders, they sent me lowers from a '00-07 FL. I know that the front brake caliper design changed in 2000. The mounting points are about 2.5" apart for 00-07 and the mounting points on older FLs are 3.75" apart. Since the lowers were already installed on my bike. Im having Chrome Pros purchase a later version caliper for me to install. Has anyone done this conversion. Are there other things that may prevent me from doing this? Last but no least, is the 00-07 caliper a 2 piston design rather than the older 1 piston?
