I have a 2012 Softail Deluxe in Sunburst Red/White. The problem is the whitewall tires look greyish against the white paint on the bike. I'm experienced in cleaning WW's. I have tried Simple Green/ Magic Eraser, Bleche White, Brillo Pads, etc. The tires come clean, but still look greyish against the white paint. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, please share your solution. Maybe another brand of tire?. I'm obsessed!
I'm only on my second set of tires, but the Avon Gangsters are a lot brighter than the Dunlops that came on the bike when new. They're the whitest whitewalls I've seen.
2 different shades of white will never match no matter how much you clean them. I would just go ride and not worry about it. I bet your the only one who notice's the difference.
You have a kick azz bike and that is all anyone else see's.
