Hey Harlesmon.

I called Samson and they say any of the Legend series will fit, just need a 1/2 or 3/4 inch spacer to keep away from the oil line..if you buy through Samson direct they will provide it.

Also Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1 Long and Short will fit.

Good luck.

Heck, I went cheap and got the Vance and Hines twin slash slip ons. My bike sounds great, not too loud. I even got the stage one kit and Power Vision from fuel moto. I had the twin slash on my Dyna WG and it sounded nice. My wife's Sportster Superlow also has the twin slash.

I went super cheap and got some Rush 1.75" baffled slip-ons and they sound down right amazing. ~$270 shipped.

Hey Crawlgsx,

Where did you get the Rush slip-ons from? I like the price point on that option?

$284 shipped. Came quick and in perfect condition.

Can't beat that. They have sound clips of all their slipons on Youtube (of course not on a Breakout but on a bunch of other softails).

I have gotten nothing but complements on how it sounds and it looks so much better (my opinion) than the stock black heat shields.

It has a pretty nice sounding low rumble while cruising but it barks real mean when you get on it. Based on the sound clips I thought I would like it, but not love it, especially for that price I figured how good could it sound? Well I was very pleasantly surprised and I actually am completely satisfied with the way the bike sounds now.

Stock pipes were a pain to get off, they didn't want to move and some of the clamps had to be loosened/rotated out of the way (to remove the lower pipe) but the new ones went right on with no issues. Fitment was great.
The stock pipe heat sheilds don't line up 100% but pretty close. They are just "pushed out" where they meet the muffler from the stock size (probably from the muffler heat shields).

We have the Bassani Road Rage 2-1 on our Heritage. They do come in black.

Here are some vids of our bike.

And NO those are not my painted toe nails they belong to the wife

and this one.

The last one is our bike being used on the Bassani web site.

Contact SIKPIPES, He should be making some new creations that would fit the Breakout as well. I already asked him but haven't gotten a reply yet.
