How do I get the bulb out of the socket?
I tried to change bulb on brake/rear lights, but I have bever seen a socket like this. Usuallly you can push the bulb in, and turn it to one side, and pull it out. On my FLSTCI 2003 it is a socket with a black tap on each side of the bulb.
Can anyone please tell me how to take the bulb out? I don`t want to destroy the holder/socket.

So it's the rear break light on the bike that is in your sig? If so I can't imagine that it is any different than my 08 in which case the bulb just pulls out of the socket. If what you are having trouble with is removing the rubber socket from the lens housing then I believe it is just a matter or turning the socket and pulling on it at the same time until the tabs that are on the INSIDE of the lens line up with their gaps on the lens housing.

Thanks for the answers. I got the bulb out. It was just to pull it out, at the same time pushed the black rubber towards the bulb. What really sets me out, are that I was changing the bulb , because I have changed the lights from red to clear glass, and I got a new red bulb, that is not push right inn and out. It is with a ordinary socket in metal, with metal taps on each side. Well, I have to call my local dealer tomorrow and ask him why he gave me a wrong bulb. He should know better.
Thanks.

Think my 07 rears take a 1157 base bulb (stock form is its a turn/brake), VS the 1156 single element bulb for running lights only.
I do have the unit that makes the rears a running/turn/brake light. But it still uses the same as stock bulb.
either one U should just have to push in a little and twist counter clock to get it to come out.
Might try a little penetrating oil, just in case it a little rusty in there.
I also put some die-elec grease on the base and sides of the copper base only of the new bulb to help keep the rust down and make the next removal easier.

IMO they will make Ur bike a lot more visible than just white lights. More so on the turn sigs.
might check Ur state laws.. just plain white/clear bulbs may not be legal.
