Talking My softail bagger conversion lots of pics

The bike started as a 2002 independence custom express. I am into the bagger conversion right now roughly $1500. ( I know it isn't a Harley but it's all I have at the moment) I hope you all enjoy it.

New paint. No more flames!

Batwing fairing from Memphis shades (no windshield yet I still need to paint it)

New exhaust tip to keep the exhaust off the bags for the hooker 4 into 1 pipes I love them!

Bad Dad rear fender ( All in one) Pricey but I like the clean look without crazy *** lights all over the back end.

4" stretched bags from TJ Customs

This is with the bags hanging on it. Nothing is bolted yet as it is still in a semi mock up state. It looks like I am going to have to modify the saddlebag brackets to move the bags roughly 3" forward from where they are sitting.

This is where the project is as of right now. Hopefully I will have the complete mock up done within a week or two. Then off to the paint shop.

More pics to come as it's gets closer!

Question, what do you mean when you say "You know it's not a Harley but"? Also and a bit off topic but is anyone else having trouble with this website? It's like every time I click on something I have to sit here and wait, and wait and wait for everything to load. It's kind of getting old and boring. I don't remember it being this bad when I 1st joined. Ever since they put this Cadillac add on all the pictures it takes forever and forever.

Well it is the "HD"forums, and it's a revtech powered independence.

I couldn't agree more, this site has been crazy slow lately & I believe your right about it slowing down right after that dang Cadillac add popped up.. Time to do some house cleaning!!
