Default Fatboy wheels need polished!

This may have been covered before, and if so, forgive my ignorance, BUT is Mothers Mag polish ok for stock fatboy wheels? I'm not sure if they have a finish it'll strip, or can I just polish the sh*t out of 'em with a polishing ball on my dewalt battery drill?

I don't know if yours are clearcoated or not, but if they are you can you can use the same polish you'd use on the paint.
One way to tell if the wheels are bare or cleared: if you start to polish a small section and get a black residue, they are bare aluminum.

I've tried many different polishing compounds over the years. Recently started using S100 Polishing Soap. Great stuff. Easy to use. Amazing results.

Find you a wheel refurbish company nearby and take your bare wheels to them for polishing and clearcoating. A company around here called Transwheel did mine. they look dam near chrome and i'll never have to polish them again.. clean and go..
