Like the bike was crashed and they didn't have enough money to fix it?

Google Harley Heritage Bobber and go to images. There are as many pictures of Heritages with no front fenders as you can shake a stick at. It seems quite a few people yank the front fender and presume they have created a bobber. Its nothing more than a "look". You either like it or not. To me it only works when you excessively strip down the bike and chop the rear fender as well, but thats just me. Another thing to remember is a large 16 inch tire will whip enormous amounts of crap from the road up in the air and directly into your face. Especially water, when its raining, damp or runoff.

I like the idea of having a stripped down Harley, but I wouldn't do it to my Heritage. Just too much other stuff going on with the bike that would have to go, at least in my mind, to make it look good. It certainly wouldn't be Heritage anymore, except for the vin.

I ran no front fender on a few cafe bikes. As mentioned above, the front wheel throws a ton of crap all over your motor and everywhere. Even on dry roads, sand and everything. Yes, it looks good on some bikes depending on how they are set up, just too dirty for me.

A Heritage without a front fender is not a pretty sight. I'm glad you came to your senses. You had me worried.
