Rocker C Build
#21
Hey JoJo. Love the 5-star rims that came with our bikes (like you do) but wanted a 21in up front and a "clocked" set of rotors and pulley. Well I visited the only guy (you know him) who has these killer parts but they were way too expensive. He was an awesome dude with super high-quality parts so I really wanted to do business with him but I'm trying to keep the budget from exploding on this project (10K when all done!?!). So I found these and they ensured all the parts were clocked for me...and for a great price cheaper then if I went with stock! Issues with these folks too (wrong hubs so had to get replacements from another vendor..long story lol) but they made it right.
I've had lots of problems with vendors for some reason. But I have a real problem with giving up too much money for parts just because they're for a bike!?!? I say lets avoid those overpriced fools (you know em...Roland Sands, PM, etc) and mod our own stuff and wheel and deal with those willing to negotiate or add some sweets to the deal. Most of the folks I dealt with in the end did that and with great customer service to boot (DK, Heartland, AMT, Shotgun, even HHI and J&P after correcting a couple hiccups).

Hey tree, just saw this thread. If you tighten the rear bolt and all 4 of the tank bolts, (using threadlocker) it's not going to move. lol, we tried just the other day on one that we were working on....loosened the rear tab bolt and two of us were pushing and could not get it to move forward! Had to loosen the tank lift bolts to get it to move.
Not a Rocker, but on my Heritage I enlarged the slot some so that I could slide the tank back further.
I know you want 3", but if you need to exchange your 3" for a 2" or 2.5", that's no problem, just let us know.

I do plan to relocate the rear mount by drilling a new hole in the backbone about 3/4in to the rear. I'll post about it when complete but I didn't want to do it until I get everything squared up with the new trees and get the bars mounted and adjusted to my preference so I get only the clearance I need. Thanks for watching and commenting on these posts...you're awesome bro!

No its gone bro, let the insurance company total it (they total bikes easily..don't want the risk of fixing them and something going wrong when the frame is hit). Wanted a sweet 23in like yours but the cost was a budget buster so went with a 21in. Looks like you're still the big dog on the block...for now. I think JoJo was talking 23in and WG...lol
