Default leather tour pak lid lock

I scored a leather tour pak with mounting rack today for only $175!!!!!
Certainly not new, but I'd say it's condition is a 7 out of 10

Now I would like to put a lock kit on it.
Does anyone know of a lock kit other than the Stealer one that runs $150+?

Thanks,

Definitely got yourself a bargain. Been awhile but I'm sure I have over 600 in my pak and rack. I researched the lock subject to death and never found anything at a price I was willing to spend.

Even the lock for the detachable rack is way overpriced and stupidly designed to boot. You have to be a contortionist to use the key on it. Far as the lid itself, when I'm staying overnight at a motel I may fashion a hasp out of 2 zipties that I put on the straps and secure with a small padlock. Other times I may just throw a lock on the buckle for looks. Just looking to discourage the ****** and graps because face it, a leather tour pak isn't going to hold up well to a determined thief with enough time.

I've also used a motion detector under my bike cover or in the pak and/or saddlebags with the receiver being in my motel room. I use the cheapo driveway alerts from harbor freight but there are better systems available. Anyone takes the cover off or opens the bag, I know about it. As long as I'm in my room .

Not that I keep anything of value in the pak or bags when staying overnight anyway. But if someone messes with the bike I want to know about it.

Try some of the saddlebag companies, like Leather Pros or Boss Bags and see if one their locks can be rigged to fit your application.

Otherwise I'd just use a bike cable and lock. Simple, ugly, but effective.
