Beautiful bike, welcome to the softail forum.

You can try the V&H quiet baffles to see if they are any better. You will have to remove the heat shields to get at the screws that hold the baffles in to get them out.

Interesting luco. So the hardkore baffles go inside the quiet baffles?

I've got the 'quiet baffles' in my V&Hs, but they still set off my car alarm if I start it too close.

You just may be in the market for a set of stock pipes.

Take the baffles out for about two weeks and ride it hard then put the quiet baffles in and after two weeks of open pipes the neighbors will be so happy and be thanking you even though it isnt much better than it is now.

The Hard Kore baffles go in after the V&H quiet baffles. I'm running the same in my Freedom Performance pipes.
They run a little richer than the V&H baffles by themselves would.

Hmmm. Very interesting. Any reduction in decel pop with the Hard Kore baffles on top of the VH baffles?

I went from SE slip ons to the current pipes and double baffles.
Neither had/has decel pop.

I'm running the dealer download and knew the stock baffles that came with the new pipes would be less restrictive than the SE's. I figured with the V&H quiet baffles, the Hard Kore warning about possible rich condition would have me close to the SE restriction.

Had a co-worker comment, he was surprised at how quiet they were for short pipes.
