One of those details that you can't quite put your finger on . . . the front end of the Deluxe is raked out a bit more, which may explain why they look a little bit different in not such an obvious way.

Deluxe is a great looking bike. Never been a fan of the Heritage.

Buy what you like and tell the salesmen to go boil their heads.

Not sure why some call the Deluxe a "Girls Bike" I don't see it that way at all................ btw I own a 2000 Heritage.............

I own a 2012 Deluxe and Love it. It's one of the most versatile bikes Harley makes; kind of like a blank canvas. I never noticed that the front was raked out more?

CountryD beautiful bike, I've been admiring it for a while. Kind of wish I got a black bike. I'm 6'4" and wondered if the LePera moved you back to a better position?

Thanks,

I go a Heritage because I wanted the bags for my commute. I started by looking at the Deluxe because I liked the look better, but storage won out. None of the dealers tried to sway me either way, just gave me facts. You may need to shop dealers, not bikes.

Yeah I didn't realise it either until someone one here pointed it out. Pull up the specs on both bikes and check 'em out. Just enough to make a slightly different look.

I'm on a 2012 FLSTN and I couldnt be happier. The Deluxe is the closest to the iconic traditional harley look you can get. Like so many members have already stated, it is a blank canvas to customize. The ride is smooth as you can get. Eff the dealer and buy what you want. Low, black, with chrome, go for the LUX
