Yes, I did remove that tank, only to get better access to the plugs. I didn't try to do it without it didn't look very easy.

And goats.... I'm 6'4" and wish the same thing about mine sometimes.... I think it would be nice if they offered a 16" for a taller rider.

Cjames did you have to extend the wiring? How deep is the plug anyways under the tank.

Yea you definitely have to extend the wiring and the plug is probably at the 1/3 back mark, I think they are underneath a rubber flap behind the front fat part of the tank
