CountryD, that bike is simply awesome. I love the all-black up front to the neck then after the black down-tubes start the chrome engine guard blends to the engine and chrome acc's then to the strut covers fade to black. It looks awesome!

Appreciate it Tee, I sold her. Miss her EVERYDAY . I put alot of thought into that bike. Didnt want too much chrome and I Gotta thank a bunch of the fellas on here for inspiration. They all helped.

Great family on this site. We all help each other out.

Cant wait til this spring to get another one, just cant make up my mind if I wanna go with a Rk and do it up big, or just get another Deluxe.

I have no input on 21's, but I thought about doing 18's front and rear, but stuck with 16's. I prefer more whitewall than more wheel. I figure an 18 looks more modern, whereas a 16 looks more fat and old school. If you're sticking with black sidewalls, the 18" rear will probably look more badass on a Fatboy.

That is a shame CountryD! The new owner got nothing to do but ride the crap outta her. Selling a bike like that must've been like selling a kidney. Sacrilege to say it in here but get the RK. U been there, done that already my friend!

Not Kozy, but you can make your bike look like his. You can make YOURs look like how ever you want it to. Thats the beauty of owning a Harley, what ever vision you have, you can make it happen. We all started out on here with an idea of how we wanted our bike to look. With the help of the fellas on here, its amazing how it can turn out.

You have any questions about bikes, engines, wheels, tires, paint, seats whatever, just ask and someone will chime in. Good luck and prepare to spend some COIN on whatever you decide on.

Did you have to modify the front fender to fit the 21 or it'll be fine? Also, have you had any issues with the rear fender and an 18? I've read a couple different opinions. Thanks.

I have a 05 Fatboy and went with 18's on both the front and the back. Progressive suspension and the back is as high as she will go. There are two inches to play with the 442's. With an 18 on the rear, it actually looks a bit slammed, even though it is not. Your bike is going to look great with spokes. Looking forward to seeing the pics when you make your decision.

Thanks for the info. I have the progressive 442s in the back. What brand wheels did you go with? I've been torn between the Ultima or DNA black spokes. Looks to be about a 300 difference between the two and I've heard good things about both brands. Looking forward to finishing my wheel and posting pics. I've already invested alot into the motor 96 to a 107, blacked out the forks, nacelle and passing lamps.
