Default ECM tuners for Cross Bones

Hello,
I am new to the soft-tail community. I recently sold my 105th Dyna Low Rider and upgraded to a stock 2010 black denim Cross Bones. So to start putting my own flavor into this beast I am buying some parts and will need a tuner. I had a Power Commander on my Dyna. Their website says its not compatible with the Cross Bones. This was also said of the Rinehart cross back exhaust but I am going to make that work also. Does anyone know why the Power Commander won't work for the FLSTSB or have a better/equivalent tuner they prefer? Thanks in advance.

Suggest you go to FuelMoto. Great prices and service. They will pre-map a unit for you and as you add engine mods they will update your map. Can't go wrong with them.

They say it doesn't fit only because of the room to mount it under the stock seat set up. I ran one on mine but I had the bad lander seat. You ought to look at the power vision. It doesn't stay on the bike. Like someone else said, give Fuelmoto a call

Yup, it's the stock seat that's the problem. If it was me I'd jettison that seat anyway, don't care for it but to each their own.

I used the Screamin' Eagle Street Performance Tuner on my bike. The good thing about it is you don't have to mount it on the bike.

Dynojet Power Vision hands down! It's not a piggy back add on that will likely fail over time. You can tune the bike and take it off...if flashes the ECM...but stores your OEM tune in case you need to go back.

Search the web and save $$$$ you can find better prices than offered here and FREE shipping. You can start off with a canned tune from Dyno-Jet and then use the auto-tune to fit your bike properly. No tune anyone sends you will be perfect...you have to auto-tune...or get the bike dynoed.

To me it all depends on what your plans are for mods who's doing the work do you have an extended service plan....
From what i've read i don't think you can go wrong with fuel motto.

For my situation. I went with the screaming eagle super tuner.(They have auto tune also)

I can tell you this regardless of what route you go.
Stg1 breather , exhaust and tuner are worth the money spent. I'm frugal(cheap) if i wasn't happy with how much better the bike runs i'd say so.
