Update, Rear wheel is installed. Very little clearance between the belt and tire, still need to align the wheel.
Need to pick up a socket or wrench to remove the from fork caps. I'm going to have a local shop install the chrome lowers so I need to remove the forks from the triple tree.
I also removed the intake manifold to replace the seals. Turns out I had a small leak. I also used a dremel and cleaned up the inside of the manifold and got rid of all the ugly casting lines and imperfections.
Primary cover also needs to come off to remove the starter. I have been having issues with the starter not engaging and getting an grinding sound.

Smile Update

Front forks are at Phat Rides for the chome lowers to be installed. Starter was taken in for inspection/ repair.
Assembled new detachable sideplates and luggage rack on backrest. This way I don't have to throw on the saddlebags and bolt on the backrest for short trips with the lady.
Progress is slow but steady, really need the paint and powder coat back to get moving.
Still havent decided on a seat. Want something less bulky than stock and more confortable. Still need to have a comfortable 2 up option. Im leaning toward a C&C solo with passenger pillion. Any ideas?

Default Assembly 99%

Got the bike back together, hit the start button and all I heard is the starter spinning. Motor is not turning over. Dropped it off to the shop that rebuilt the starter. I was too frustrated at this point to diagnose it myself. Good news is that everything else looks great. I cant wait to ride this thing. Still a few things to finish up like install new tank badges and install the new C&C seat. Ill update when I get it back from the shop and finish it up.

Couple more angles. You can see the nightrain emblems mocked up. Just need to take some time to get them perfect before I stick them on.
