Black Line rear fender on 05 Night Train

05 train came with 150, the blackline with an mu85b16 (essentially a 140) so the swingarm is probably the same. The horns are what will make it work though. Maybe some of the blackline guys will chime in with the horn spread dimension to check against your train. Mounting holes might also be different, but not too likely since HD would probably want to keep all the quick disconnect hardware as universal fit as possible.

Yes it will work. As far as I know you'll just need the fender struts/hardware. Depending on what finish you want you can order the FXS (Blackline) struts that will come in the matte black or the FLS (Slim) struts and they'll be Gloss Black. Not sure if the bracket inside the fender is going to come with the fender when you purchase that from HD but you'll want to have them clarify that. If not you'll need it as well. It has threaded sleeves and it matches the new holes/bolt pattern and comes in from the inside of the fender and the sleeves pull into the fender and align everything and bolts thread into it's sleeves. The Blackline has a bracket that connects to this that goes back and grabs the license plate bracket. The FLS doesn't have the license plate bracket on the rear of the fender so hardware length might be a tiny bit different between the two (not sure). On the Blackline this bracket is a seperate piece from just the inner fender bracket so depending on if you want the license plate back there or not you will or wont need that. I'd be specific to your local HD parts counter guy (they aren't usually that bright) so no sense in buying **** that you don't need. If you're not going to run the plate back there I'd just specify a fender and mounting hardware for a Slim just to avoid confusion altogether. Hope this info helps. I'd be interested in see this mod done.
