My husband is 5'8 and he says the bar is too far from his hands so he is getting the pullback bar. So i take it the bike was made for someone built like a chimp, long arms short legs. He has no problem with the riding position except for the reach to the bar.

I got the pullbacks because the stock bars did not look comfortable at all. They do make you sit in a more upright position instead of being stretched over the tank. I want to swap mine for some ape hangers soon so I will be selling my pullbacks if interested.

I'm right at 6ft and the stock bars and forwards fit me well. I actually have considered getting the Todd's upper tree since it moves the bars further away by about 3/4in and adding 3" in extended forwards. Stock is quite comfy, but if truth be told I'd sacrifice a little of that comfort to get the stretched out riding stance since.

Kind of the same position as my Night Train was stock. I had to get some 8" pullbacks for it to make it more comfortable but I must admit, it looked cooler with the stock 6" straight risers.

NO.. not everyone is only 5'8''..
That's why they have/make parts to mod Ur bike so it will fit the rider.

Their is no,, "One bike" that fits all riders.!!

5'9 and have no problem with my stock bars, ya I lean forward a little when I ride instead of sitting straight up, but its comfortable for me, and thats what matters in the long run I guess.
