Hey all. I got a softail slim that I'm converting to a 2 up for my gf. I'm looking to get these pegs...

I have the stock shotgun exhaust with the pegs coming between the pipes and just wondering if the heel rest would hit the pipe or cause an issue when folded up?

I may be wrong, but I don't think those are designed to be rear pegs. The geometry of the passengers foot would be wrong. I'm thinking in the stock position for the rear peg, a passengers foot rests naturally with the heel against the peg. These look like your toes would be on the peg and your heel on the stirrup. I had a set on my last bike on my highway bars and they worked well there, probably work well on forward controls too.

I think you may be better off with a passenger floorboard, if you're thinking a good foot rest for her.

My apologies as this is not what you asked but thought I'd give you food for thought.

 

That's actually something I hasn't thought about. Imightbjust have to go for regular pegs. Thanks bobg03
