I run HHI 4 piston calipers on three of the Springers and so do about 50 people I know with Heritage Springers. No one has had any issue with fatigue on the front end
Don' you have any concerns that adding those much more powerful brakes on the front of the springer will cause metal fatigue in the forks? I believe there is an engineering reason the Moco did not put a more powerful stopper on the front.
The only reason they used a small brake was for styling. Originally I believed they didn't use big brakes because they would bind the front end, but after a lot of research I found that not to be the case.
As it turns out, the Springer is more durable than standard front ends and adding more brake just means I can lock up easier.

+1, and I'm another happy user too.
Now, if I could only convince my wife that I need the matching chrome rear caliper....
A.) Cool factor and unique
B.) Rides awesome, less brake dive
C.) Did I mention cool factor? People are constantly asking you about it...
I'll second less front end brake dive. Out of 3 bikes I have one that is not a springer, its an 11 SG and I hate the feel of the front end compared to a springer.

My bike came out of Moco with a 4 piston hd caliper. Last year they made a springer in 09.
