Great looking bike. Doesn't hurt to have a second.

Man, you really can't go wrong with a Springer. If you haven't ridden one, you'll be really surprised at how well they handle.

I've been know to ride mine hard at times, and it has never left me feeling that it wasn't up to the task.

Also, replied to your PM, Rocker_Dan. Good luck deciding!

Hi there
I would definetley get the springer. My last bike was a 96 fx springer and I really miss that bike. I got hit by a 22 year old in a civic and the bike got totalled. I bought a night train and like it but the springer was a great ride. I'm thinking of getting a dragon springer or an HD springer front end for the train. Once you ride a bike with a springer front end it's hard to go back.
The only drawback to a springer front end is that you need to change the neck bearing at regular intervals.
Good luck with your purchase!!!

I'll have to wait to finish of the fatty before I do any mods but it will give me time to decide on how I want it

I love the bobbed out springers but I think I'll go the vicla (?) look

I want a 21 up front probably fat spokes, but would like some opinions on a color combo

I'm thinking chrome spokes with black rim & hubs??

What do you guys think??

Here she is...

Very nice indeed! You have some good ideas and I'm no one to tell you otherwise. Just be sure you have an idea of what you want and don't change your mind in the middle of the project.

I do believe this will limit you Harleys for the future. I don't ever want a bike without a springer again. I'm not planning on losing mine for anything.

I'd never own any Harley BUT a springer.

A.) Cool factor and unique
B.) Rides awesome, less brake dive
C.) Did I mention cool factor? People are constantly asking you about it...

Don' you have any concerns that adding those much more powerful brakes on the front of the springer will cause metal fatigue in the forks? I believe there is an engineering reason the Moco did not put a more powerful stopper on the front.
