Springers are hot, classic, and rare. I can't think of one reason why you shouldn't get one.

I know you asked for reasons to not get a Springer but I'm going to give a very compelling reason why you should get one.

If you are on a long boring stretch of road, you can watch the spring mechanism go up and down each time you hit a bump and that helps to make the ride a little more enjoyable.

I think that should probably cinch it for ya.

Yep, what he said. But there more fun anyway.

I'll also trump the slow vs go statement. My 97 puts out 100HP/118TQ. Its hardly slow. And it is carbed.

well i prefer the fuel injection, once you get the hang of it its way easier to play with and it has a ton more adjustment and power room. As for the springer, love the look but i hate the way they feel, just kind of a goofy feeling in the front kinda loose......but i think they do say Harley more than most bikes. Teflon

Thank you all for your replies...

I'm leaning towards yes

The only other issue is that it's not my first choice on color being its not two tone

I'm thinkin 21 fat spokes... Black rim & hub chrome spokes??

Apes.... Which ones look best on a springer??

Cholos would be a must

Any other thoughts??

I'd love to see some pics...
