Freedom true duals with fishtail caps
I am looking to put a set of these on my 1991 FXSTC. They are listed for 95 - 06 (I think) and nothing earlier. I talked to a rep at Freedom and he said all I should have to do is possibly modify my shifter linkage, move my coil, and drill/ tap a hole in the frame on one side to mount the pipes. Does this sound right? Anyone here put true duals on an older softail who might have some advice? Thanks,
