Default Fat Boy Lo build quality

So I have only owned a complete chrome whored out fat boy. It has been super easy to keep clean and the chrome has stayed fresh for the last 8 years and 40k miles. I'm thinking about the fat boy lo and was wandering how the powder coated wheels have held up. How the brushed chrome on the engine still looks. Is the the bike a pain in the azz to keep clean? Has anything on the bike deteriorated quick? Does the paint on the oil tank chip easily from rocks and bugs on the highway?

Simple Green Car Wash Concentrate + Bucket + water + hose = clean bike.

20 minutes, top to bottom, done. bike looks immaculate 3 years later.

No Chrome = Me^Happy Camper.

Dude trust me holds up better and way easier to clean then the regular chrome! I love it.. Tho im changing my mufflers to black and probably the center console im keeping the satin chrome on the engine! Black wheels are still like brand new and really easy to clean.
