Default Electrical problems

Hello fellow wrenchers,
2008 Modified FXSTB with a gentlemans 42k mi. I had starter solenoid fail when I was training and figured to have it repaired under warranty. Ever since, heated grips don't work and odd electrical problems here and there. All lights operate fine. Before I put up for winter for my teardown and inspect, I noticed bike was not holding a charge. Parked for a few hours and I would need a jump. Battery is only a couple years old. I have a odd feeling that that the voltage regulator has failed. I just would like some ideas to look for before I go down a rabbit hole of electronic system troubleshhoting.

Thanks

If your killing batteries make sure everything is off. Thats pretty straight forward but after that look for something grounding out.

I'd go over everything installed that didn't come with the bike new and also get a new battery. Electrical issues are 99% of the time hidden so whith your info its too tough to throw out solutions.
