Have you thought about powdercoating? It wouldn't be very much for just two mirrors, and that way you could get exactly the style you want. I just had a bunch of stuff done at EastCoast Powdercoat (http://www.eastcoastpowdercoat.net/). They do great work at reasonable prices, and the finished products are sweeeeeet. Even if you're not in the area, they ship back and forth to customers all over the country.
I chose a wrinkle black coating, and it looks identical to some genuine HD wrinkle black parts I purchased separately.
