I think I'm going to order a set of the Vance and Hines Twin Slash slip ons, but I don't like the look of the double tip......then I saw this video (which should be the same sound as my bike) and now I'm confused. This guy says they are twin slash, but there is no double tip. I'm trying to maintain the stock look of my Breakout, and if I can do this, I'd be happy. So can that inner tip be removed?

 

I had a set on my fatbob and i just slid the heat shield so that it was flush with the inner tip if that makes sense. Ill try to post pics in a bit.

 

I wonder if that is what the guy in the video did! Thanks for posting pics if you can.

 

+1 did the same on my streetbob, alth i'd say the guy in video hasn't used the heat shields at all
