I have metal frame inserts that somebody installed for me in Daytona but don't remember the system. What I do like is that the bikes don't sag, what I don't like is that the opening of the bag is now rigid so I can't get larger items in the bags like a gallon milk. I also have to be careful putting my leather jacket and rain gear in as the screw back could tear the fabric if I squashed stuff in and yanked to pull them out.

Yeah, pretty lame of the MOCO not to address this at the factory considering that generally all of the leather bags will do this eventually.

I have Papa's inserts. They even work with the HD detachable bag set up.

I looked on Ebay but can't find the Bagshapers. Can you tell me the best way to search for them?

Thanks.

There's certainly quite a few solutions out there and as Car Doc noted you can also put something together yourself.

After reading the reviews I went with gotsaggybags.
It was simple to install, doesn't really alter my bags and works well.

I'm sure the other solutions out there have their champions as well.

http://www.leatherlidinserts.com/
this worked for me
not just a flat piece of plastic like e bay these shape the lid and support the lid to the hard plastic panel in the bag
