Default Shotgun Shocks are on the way.

I ordered a set of Shotgun shocks after reading all the reviews you guys have posted. I hope they are half as good as you guys say they are. A buddy of mine is gonna help me install them cuz I don't have a lift and I want it done right. I have a tendency to get a little impatient and don't wanna screw anything up.They will be here friday so hopefully I can get them on this weekend.

The stock right shoulder bolt is what gave me problems breaking loose.
Tell your buddy, the washers on the shoulder bolts are not needed with the shotgun since it's a single body and won't move side to side like the stock shocks could if not for the washers having it tight against the bolt.

Running the switch wiring under the tank in the stock wiring channel took longer but it's cleaner that way.

You'll want to run it stiffer, (rebound) than you'd think needed for a plush ride.

All things considered it was a way easier install than I was expecting it to be. Getting a few of the bolts out and back in were sometimes difficult just because it's cramped for space under there, but I did the whole thing by myself in about 4 hours with a J&S jack, some CCR on the ipod and a six-pack of PBR.

I've only had a chance to ride it once since I installed it, and it wasn't long enough to get a good feel for it, but I do love going out in my garage and dumping the air and then running it back up again. The bike looks sooooo good slammed.

Yea its a pretty straight forward install. A second set of hands is always nice but either way not too bad.

No rush considering you have a while before you'll have suitable weather to do any real riding anyway.

Only another week and a bit to get the deal. $250 off retail is nothing to sneeze at.
