Default Signal Light Conversion Kit

Has anyone replaced their stock HD signal lights with the HD's Auxiliary Brake Light/Running Light/Turn Signal Conversion Kit?
My wife bought me this kit for Christmas, but I haven't had a chance to install it. Is it very complicated to install?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Yep, did it over the holidays. Pull your seat, find the wiring harness running back to your rear lights, the plug should be fairly close to your battery...unplug it, plug in the pigtail and secure with cable ties, reinstall your seat. Changing your lenses is pretty straight forward.
Good luck!

+1. Easy install and the hardest part was finding a place to locate the module.

+1. Easy plug & play, then stuff the harness.

I'm missing something here? What does this conversion kit enable the lights to do?

It turns your rear turn signals into brake lights as well as turn signals and running lights. You change the lenses to the red ones that come in the kit, and plug in the module. Now your turn signals stay on at half power all the time, act as full time running lights and light up to full power when you hit the brake, giving you 3 brake lights instead of just one. Its a brilliant idea for safety.

Cool.... I like it. I have the HD bullet lights on my '12 Heritage. Will it still work?

ahhhh, nevermind. It will work but it won't met DOT requirements. Something about the distance between the turn signals and the brake light.
