Default Hey guys, new to Harleys, gunna buy soon, couple questions...

Well, i always loved harleys as a kid and now its time to get one, i like most of the softail models the best, but what i want is a single seat and round rear fender with a wide rear tire. Im not a huge fan of the dyna bikes, i like nightrains and rockers the most.
Questions are,
Any other bikes come with wide rear tires other than rockers and breakouts?
I know doing a wide tire kit is really expensive, but the cost seems to balence the difference of what i can get a rocker for:s

What do you guys think my best bet is?

I'd look around for a good used 2006-up softail that comes with the 200mm tire. They're out there, you just have to look.

06 and up Nightrains have 200 back wheels, if you preferr a rounded rear fender either look for a bike which has got one fitted, or buy a Heartlands rear fender kit to replace the Ducktail fender it comes with, if you go on the Nightrain picture forum there's lots of bikes on there with them on.

Check out all of the Rocker threads, there are a lot of nice Rockers on this site with different looks.

Take a look at the Rocker pictures.

If you are going with a round fender (to completely cover the tire?) you likely will find a cheaper options going with a night train with the narrower rear tire.

Most Rocker guys want to show off the fat rear tire with a shorter fender.

There has been some good Rocker prices on Kijiji Alberta lately of you haven't checked there yet.

Yea i didnt know some of the newer softails came with 200rears, i dont want to cover the rear tire completely but i just dont like the look of the flared out or extended fenders. Rockerz, i was looking at your pictures earlier and really like the look of your bike. Yea changing the seat and fender would be nice and cheap compared to doing a full wide tire kit, i dont exactly like the look of fat boys, i dont like the forks,
Thanks for the input guys! Il keep looking

I bought a spare rear fender off ebay. I like the rear fender on the Rocker, but I'm going to extend it a bit.

The Night Trains and Crossbones with a swing arm mounted fender are my favorite since they have a Rocker style look to them.
