Default Opinions On Pullback Risers on My Night Train

I took a ride a while back that was about 500 miles round trip and with the drag bars on my Night Train my back was totally f-ed. It took me a week to recover from it. The problem is.... I have to reach way too much because of the height of my stock bars.

The stock risers are 6 inch, so I need something significantly longer than that to make a difference.

I like the drag bars so want to stay with them, so I'm thinking anything between 9 inch (which is 3 inches longer than stock) all the way up to 14 inch (8 inches longer than stock) pullback risers.

I'm definitely leaning towards at least 12 inches since I like the look of the "tall drag bars".

Pic below of the ones I'm considering..... Second pic is a close-up of how the stock 6" risers are. Definitely not long enough.....

What do you guys think?

Have you not considered street slammer bars, would give you some extra height and pull back you want, personally not to keen on really tall drag bars.

Why not just go with an all in one? Something like this.

Do not like drags with tall risers - get some 12" or 14" apes and be done with it

I have to agree with the other posters; risers taller than 8" Iook goofy with drag bars. I have the same issue with my train. I've been looking at Wild 1 WO500 drag bars, 6" rise and I get an extra 5" of pullback over the stockers.

I considered 10-12" apes but I'd need to do some test riding before I dropped the coin on the parts for that swap...

Looks good to me. And it's what you want, so it's that much better!

I run 8" pull backs with drag bars on my train. Very comfortable and I like the look but to each his own.

Yeah Disco, I'll vote an all in one like the street slammers. I actually took them off my train because the pull back was too much for me. Made my shoulders hurt but I have somewhat long arms. That's why I went to apes

I agree 12" pullbacks would look like ***. I have 8" pullbacks on my NT and they are very comfortable.
