I had 9.5 inch buffalo pull-back risers w/drag bars on my softail.

Very comfy.

The 12's are a little too straight up.. IMO.
You will be reaching forward to them.
They need to come back to you a bit.

I had to change the bars on my Night Train as well. Just could not reach those stock bars and stay away from the Chiropractor. I did not go with the risers because I thought that the new bars looked cleaner.

Appreciate all the input! Pullbacks are what I'm after, mainly due to ease of install and I do really like the look. The only reason I'm thinking 12 inches at a minimum is because I have shorter arms (I'm 5'8") and with the 6" stocks, I'm doing some serious reaching.

The price jumps way up on the pullbacks after 9.5 inches. I've found them for about 65 bucks, but have only found the 12-14 inchers for around 200 bucks. I'll spend the 200 if need be. I'm just wondering if the 12-14 inchers will be too much pullback.

Hmmm......

That looks great! With the pullback you have now do you have to reach at all or can you sit back and reach just fine. I'm just trying to prevent having to lean towards the bars.
