Default Boom Audio

Just got the boom audio system for my Heritage and got a quote from local Harley dealer of 5.5 Hrs to install....$375.00. Does this seem high?

I was looking at the samething for my Heritage. Let me know after you get it hooked up how it sounds and looks.

5.5 hrs of labor? I thought the system consisted of only two speakers, amp, handle bar control and some wiring. Does it really take 5.5 hours to install that?

Maybe 5.5 Hrs if you were doing it yourself for the first time, but a Harley dealer! I'll probably have them do it just because I don't want a hack job done to save a few bucks.

That seems more reasonable for a dealer that has installed a bunch of these units.

I think it would take me 5.5 hours to install. I would expect better from the dealer.

OK 5.5 hrs. for a "rookie" installer perhaps seems reasonable.

I would think this would be pretty much a straightforward installation as long as one had a heated space, minor tools, some tunes and a 6 pack of beer available.
