If my OL nipples are poking through her blouse I don't jump on and ride right away. I let her warm up first.

If you don't have gauges, my dealer gave a great suggestion:

When the rocker box is warm to the touch, you're good to go.

@Bone Doc...

Yeah, I got it from a dealer in Dallas and no free battery tender for me. I did get 2 T-shirts and a helmet for free. I'm going to see if Wally Mart has one of these tenders. I just worry (too much) about the electronics cooking.

And Thanks for the Welcome!

here its a little different----------------if her nipples are poking out it means to start thinking about a ride.its usually allready warm enough

It doesnt stress your bike not to ride it after start up. If you dont ride it condensation will build up in the motor.

In your manual it will tell you how many volts or amps you should not exceed.
Sorry for the threadjack, but I just had to say:

I am not a fan of Road Kings, but that color and bag configuration on your bike looks awesome!!

Simple, classic and clean.

Ride safe.

to remedy the situation just plug in the block heater a few hours before you want to start it.The water temp should be slightly warm to the touch then the condensation wont be as bad
