Default Heritage bolts after sissy bar and rear seat removal?

On my 2012 Heritage, I have removed the sissy bar and rear seat leaving the two bolts that hold down my seat exposed. Any ideas on making them look better than stock?

Thanks....and Happy Holidays!

I've seen some that have been replaced with chrome or powder-coated acorn nuts...

My mustang seat covers that area and attached somewhere else. So that's an option

Yea, that is an option, just didn't want to drop the coin on a new seat. I was thinking of staying with the stock seat look.

When I got my Deluxe the previous owner was running it solo with the stock seat and had put acorn nuts and washers on it to hold it down instead of the stock hardware. It looked pretty good. If I was at home right now I'd go put the stock seat on and snap some pics for you, but I'm sure you can imagine what it would look like. Not sure whether the mounting tab on the Heritage seat is black or chrome, but if it's black I think getting black anodized acorns would look pretty nice up close and blend it in from further away so they don't stick out too much.

You could also instead of acorn nuts hit up your local Hot Topic or similar "music kid" store and get those spikes. They come in varying lengths and styles and look pretty cool if done right

Good call, I really love the stock seat on ours. Don't think I'll ever change it out, except another stocker if I need to..

If you want chrome or PC black ***** you can get a set from Motherwell products.

http://www.motherwellproducts.com/category-s/12.htm

These work like stock if you want to put the p-pad back on for a quick ride...cant do that with acorns.

Most Ace hardware's have a chrome cabinet of hardware if you do want some chrome acorns. Painting a set black is tough because you usually mess up the paint putting them on.

Mustang also makes seat nuts in chrome
