LATE POST! pictures from sturgis 2012
totally took my time getting around to this. but wanted to share with you guys. here are some pictures of my sturgis trip this year. rode all the way from DC. 1710 miles one way. total trip distance with riding around the area for 5 days was 4500mi. cant wait to do it again.
start of the trip.
stopping for gas right over the OH/PA border.
first bit of rain, about 3 hours outside of chicago.
tornado warning underpass dwelling.
beginning of day 2, camped out in Michigan City for the evening.
Fritz gets the first ticket, somewhere south of Milwaukee.
waiting on Fritz after his citation.
camping in a KOA in sioux falls night 2.
stopping in wall, and visiting badlands harley (which is basically just a t-shirt store.)
campin at the chip for the week!
goofy *** white people doing goofy *** white people stuff.
midget bowling. yup.
day 1 of riding, started at Black Hills HD in rapid city.
another view of the parking lot at BHHD.
stopping at rushmore.
my buddy Matt and I.
Keystone.
Hill City HD.
Hill City from above. time for lunch.
We got lost around deerfield, literally just riding around until the road ended, then we would turn around and do it again. I was pointing at a moose that ran across the street when we stopped, and then I did my ATLAS pose!

@fatusboyus you're welcome! I love taking pictures on all of my rides. This was just a major one that I didnt share yet.
Major, here is a pic of the campground in michigan city. I took a picture of the urinal because it had been quite a while since I had actually seen a **** trough in person!
and here are the bikes in front of the tents in Sioux Falls. As you can see, they arent big at all.
@jadlh - I want to stay near Deadwood next year. camping, no hotels. that ***** for the birds, and old people. I liked spearfish canyon, and there were some great camping areas around there, so that might be where I lay stakes for 2013.
