07 was an orphan year. Many anomalies including an off-set front wheel. Never understood why.

olongapo1 .... Think you'll find only humans and animals can be orphan's ... The 07 Fatboys are classed as unique a one off! .... unless you have one you can't really judge these so called many anomalies as you call them ... had mine since new and can't recall any (if there are) affecting bike or performance .....

I got sn 07 custom. if I remember reading it right & it says they offset the tire so the belt would line up straight. Maybe had to do with where motor needed to be mounted & it caused everything else to be out of line. I believe front & back are offset.

I bought an 07 Fatty new. It has been a great bike, but parts wise it is something of a red headed step child...The MC made a bunch of changes in the next year model. That is why the catalogs had lots of stuff that will NOT fit the 07. Like custom wheels and the combo tach/speedo. Used to be able to get stuff for a premium, now they just don't even offer it. Sometimes I think they just wish the 07's didn't exist. Too many screw up's that had to be corrected. Maybe in the distant future some picker will pay big bucks for the rare 07 Fatboy! Oh My God! it has the offset front tire! Doesn't hurt to fantasize!
